Greek Music

When you hear the sound of the bouzouki, you know you're at the PANEGYRI.
The musical legacy of Greece is as diverse as it's history. Greek music has been influenced by the Roman Empire (1st century), Eastern Europe and Byzantine Empire (2nd century).

This year, we proudly present Cincinnati's very own, LAZAROS. This band wil entertain you with traditional Greek dance music as well as a wide variety of old and new popular music. They will transport you to the Greek taverns, where music and dancing create a unique spirit. The sound of the bouzouki is very distinct, bringing together the sweetness and passion of the Greek spirit.

Warning: Bouzouki music can be highly addictive and may cause sudden urges to dance! If you experience any of these simptoms, please proceed immediatly to the dance floor!
